Bless My Little Girl Lullaby CD

My aunt gave me the lullaby cd Bless My Little Girl as a gift when our daughter Gabby was born. I enjoyed it so much that it is now one of my favorite gifts to give new moms.

Every time I hear the songs I think back to those cherished “Mommy and Me” moments when I sang my baby girl to sleep. To make the songs even more personal, I would replace the word “baby” with “Gabby”.

As a toddler, she now finds the Bless My Little Girl songs more entertaining than soothing. I love to watch her sing and dance to “Itty Bitty Baby Girl”. She floats across the room, spinning and twirling like a ballerina. It’s a beautiful thing to see -a sweet role reversal. I still remember when she was a newborn and the way she looked at me while I sang and danced as I cradled her in my arms… her eyes following my every move.
