How many grams are in a stick of butter?

Butter dishSomeone commented on one of my recipes wanting to know how many grams are in a stick of butter. Since I was so excited to receive a comment from someone other than my mom, I decided to answer the question with a post.

In case you are wondering, here’s the answer to the question.

How many grams are in a stick of butter?

8 tablespoons of butter (salted or unsalted) = 1 stick = 1/2 cup which is the equivalent of 4 ounces or 113 grams
