How to Play Musical Chairs

If you are looking for ways to entertain kids who are visiting you, try playing a simple game like Musical Chairs. Here’s how to play Musical Chairs.

  • Musical ChairsArrange chairs in two rows back to back with one chair less than the total number of players.
  • Play a song while and ask the kids to circle the seats.
  • Tell the kids that when the music stops, everyone should rush to a chair.
  • Inform them that the person left standing will be removed from the game. Have the remaining kids resume the standing position.
  • Remove another chair begin the game again.
  • Continue until only one person has a seat and is officially declared the winner.
