Move over Peanut Butter There’s a New Kid in Town

I’ve always been a fan of Peanut Butter Toast but ever since I’ve been on this healthy kick, I’ve started purchasing MaraNatha Almond Butter and whoo doggey is it good. In fact, I don’t miss Peanut Butter at all. Now, I just spread the almond goodness on my whole wheat bread. It’s a filling breakfast to say the least. I’m usually good for about 4 hours after that.

The only draw back is that it is more expensive and to the best of my knowledge there is no generic Walmart brand (although I won’t stop looking).

I’ve even made a power breakfast out of it by adding it as a spread on my homemade healthy banana muffins. Now that’s good eating.
