In my opinion, coffee-mate might as well be called hot chocolate-mate, oatmeal-mate or recipe-mate since that is what I use it for the most.
In hot chocolate…
Coffee-mate adds such richness and depth to a cup of hot chocolate (much in the same way I imagine it does for coffee) and there are so many flavors to choose from!
In oatmeal…
There’s nothing like a hot bowl of fruit & cream instant oatmeal with Coffee-mate creamer. Now that’s comfort food!
In recipes…
On many occassions, I use Coffee-mate in recipes when I’m out of milk. I typically only do this if I am baking something sweet or making something that requires a small amount of milk like Vanilla Butter Cream frosting. My all time favorite Coffee-mate flavor is Irish Cream, but during the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays I like to switch things up a bit and use Eggnog.
